Vietnamese leaders paid tribute to late President Hồ Chí Minh at his mausoleum in Hà Nội yesterday in celebration of the 87th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam (February 3, 1930).

HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese leaders paid tribute to late President Hồ Chí Minh at his mausoleum in Hà Nội yesterday in celebration of the 87th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam (February 3, 1930). 
The leaders included Party General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng, President Trần Đại Quang, Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc, and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân, among others. 
The activity aims to commemorate late President Hồ Chí Minh, the founder of the Party, who made great, remarkable contributions to the country’s revolutionary cause. 
The leaders later offered incense at the Heroic Martyrs Monument on Bắc Sơn Road and Mai Dịch Cemetery in Hà Nội. 
The birth of the Communist Party of Việt Nam on February 3, 1930 was an important historical event and a turning-point in the history of the Vietnamese revolution, marking a milestone in the country’s development. — VNS
