HCM CITY — An exhibition of the so-called Gang of Five contemporary artists will open at 6 pm today at the Factory Contemporary Arts Centre at 15 Nguyễn Ư Dĩ St in HCM City’s District 2.

The center and Art Việt Nam are co-presenting the exhibition as an ongoing art project initiated by curator Lê Thuận Uyên. It surveys over three decades of artistic practice by five of the most important figures in the art scene in northern Việt Nam.

The exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to rediscover the transformative phases that Vietnamese art went through in the post-Đổi Mới (renewal) period.

Tickets are VNĐ35,000( S$1.5) for adults and VNĐ25,000 (US$1.1) for students with ID. There will be on entry fee on opening night. — VNS
