French Institute shows 3 films this month

Two comedies and an animation film will be part of the monthly film screening programme at the Institute of Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF) in November.

HCM CITY — Two comedies and an animation film will be part of the monthly film screening programme at the Institute of Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF) in November.

The comedies include Bertrand Tavernier’s Quai d’Orsay (The French Minister) which received three nominations at the 2014 César Awards, including a win for Best Supporting Actor, and Rengaine (Hold Back), a film directed and written by Rachid Djaidani.

Minuscule - La vallée des fourmis perdue (Minuscule – Valley of Lost Ants) is a movie version of a French series of short animations created and directed by Thomas Szabo and Hélène Giraud.

The films will be screened with Vietnamese subtitles at 3pm every Saturday. The venue is at 28 Lê Thánh Tôn Street in District 1.

Entrance fee is VNĐ50,000 and VNĐ40,000 for students. — VNS
