HCM CITY — The "Art in the Forest" exhibition in Vĩnh Phúc Province in the heart of a pine forest is housed in containers complete with lights, air conditioning and glass doors.

The exhibition is being held at the Flamingo Đại Lải Resort in Phúc Yên District, about 45km from Hà Nội, until October 15, 2020. This year’s theme is "International Lacquer and Sculpture."

Set against the natural backdrop of a pine forest by Đại Lải Lake, the display includes 68 artworks by 10 painters and seven sculptors from Việt Nam and other countries, including Japan, South Korea, Spain, Canada, France and the US.

The exhibition also includes seating areas where visitors can stop for a drink and observe the pine forest, a popular getaway near Hà Nội. — VNS
