ĐÀ NẴNG — An exhibition of 52 paintings by local artist Duy Ninh is on display at the city’s Fine Arts Museum, 78 Lê Duẩn street, in celebration of the 74th National Day.

The museum said the exhibition, which opened last weekend, includes a collection of paintings by the Thừa Thiên-Huế-born artist, including unique monoprint, oil, acrylic and silk works on topics of sea, life, love and people that he had created over 40 years.

Ninh, 68, has held several solo exhibitions in HCM City, Hà Nội, Đà Nẵng and Hội An, as well as joint events in Denmark and the US.
His paintings expressed the complicated inner feelings of human beings that he hoped peace will finally come when art is honoured as a religion.

A collection of 400 wood and stone sculptures, paintings, installation and contemporary paintings is also regularly displayed at the museum. — VNS
