HÀ NỘI — Thăng Long Imperial Citadel will become a catwalk for the Việt Nam International Junior Fashion Week 2018 on September 21-23.
The stage will be arranged beside Đoan Môn Gate to promote the image of an important vestige of Hà Nội.
The event will star 400 young models presenting 15 collections by domestic and foreign designers including 10 brands from countries such as Hong Kong and Thailand, according to Lê Trần Đắc Ngọc, director and founder of the event.
“By organising the event at the Thăng Long Imperial Citadel, we aim to introduce Vietnamese culture and heritage to the world as well as bring the heritage closer to young people,” he said.
In the framework of the event, various activities dedicated to the community will be organised until the end of this year such as a painting contest for children, a fair to exchange old clothes, street style fashion show, environment protection and fund-raising for poor children. — VNS
