HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam Fine Arts Museum celebrated its 50th anniversary (1966-2016) with the opening of an exhibition entitled ‘Works in the Collection of Việt Nam Fine Arts Museum in the period of 1986-2016’ yesterday.
The celebration is an opportunity to look back on the achievements the museum has attained, while honouring the museum staff who have contributed to the development of the museum.
The exhibition was also held on the occasion of Việt Nam Cultural Heritage Day, which falls on November 23.
Fifty works from 50 different artists, showing the diversity and character of Vietnamese fine arts over the past 30 years are being displayed at the exhibition.
The exhibition will last until November 29. — VNS
