QUẢNG NINH — Novotel Hạ Long Bay has been officially recognised as a five-star hotel by the Việt Nam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT), a milestone marking a comprehensive upgrade, ranging from facilities to service standards.

Located in the centre of Bãi Cháy Ward, a prime position in Hạ Long City, the hotel which was built on the former site of the historic 'Round Villa', captures the view of the world heritage Hạ Long Bay.

lt has welcomed many  high-ranking state leaders such as former Prime Minister Phạm Văn Đồng, former Chairman of the Council of State Võ Chí Công and General Võ Nguyên Giáp.

In October 2008, Novotel Hạ Long Bay became the city's first internationally branded hotel under Accor's management. Inspired by the image of a white seagull cradling an egg, the property's iconic design reinterprets the classic 'round villa' architecture of the past, blending heritage with contemporary comfort to offer guests a memorable stay that bridges generations.
