HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese and foreign photographers are invited to submit their work to the annual photo contest Journey of Heritages organised by the national carrier Vietnam Airlines’ inflight Heritage Magazine.
From April 1 until July 31, photographers can send their images to compete in three categories – Photo Collection, Cover Photo, and Single Photo. The topics include craft villages, landscapes, heritage, people, festivals, customs, and cultural life in Việt Nam.
Images can also be from other countries in the flight network of Vietnam Airlines and SkyTeam Alliance.

The photos need to have been taken within the last two years and not been used in any media or publications. Entries, must be digital form and can be sent via email to address firstname.lastname@example.org.
Entries will be judged in August by a jury board chaired by President of the Việt Nam Association of Artistic Photographers, Trần Thị Thu Đông. Other jury members include representatives of the Hà Nội Artistic Photography Association, the Ministry of Culture, Sport, and Tourism, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and Heritage Magazine, and well-known professional photographers.
There will be 16 awards with a total prize money of VNĐ250 million (about US$10,000), including 26 domestic and international Vietnam Airlines flight tickets as additional prizes.

An awards ceremony and an exhibition displaying the best photos will be held in Hà Nội at the end of September.
