China's reopening good news for Vietnamese exporters

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Trần Thanh Nam said China's dismantling of its COVID-19 lockdowns had given a big push to bilateral trade, with Vietnamese exports to China in February rising by 33 per cent month-on-month.

State revenue from exports-imports down 19% in first two months

State budget collection from export-import activities reached VNĐ56.3 trillion (US$2.37 billion) in the first two months of 2023, or 13.3 per cent of the year’s plan, down 19.4 per cent year-on-year, according to data from the General Department of Customs.

Shares climb for third straight session

Shares gained for three straight sessions on Wednesday as the market moved positively right from the opening, thanks to the information that Fubon ETF fund raised more capital and will disburse more into the Vietnamese market.
