HCM CITY — The Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum solution to help small and medium-sized businesses protect themselves against cybercrimes has hit the market.
It helps inform and enhance customers’ IT team capacity to analyse root causes to deal with security threats by performing necessary operations quickly and simply.
When it detects malware, it conducts a detailed investigation and analysis of the infection including the IP of the hacker’s control server and offers response scenarios such as preventing the file from being executed, which is especially useful when the anti-virus software on the computer is shut down or the malware has started as soon as the computer is running, isolating computers from the network remotely when the organisation’s employees are working from home.
Võ Vương Tú Diễm, territory manager at Kaspersky Vietnam, said: “In comparison with other countries regionally and globally, Việt Nam’s small firms still have limitations and have not fully utilized their potential. This is also a vulnerable sector … and not fully equipped with knowledge of cybersecurity as well as tools and solutions when incidents happen.
“Therefore, Kaspersky launches KEDRO solution with the desire to support and empower SMBs to be more proactive in protecting the organisation's cybersecurity infrastructure, as well as saving time and improving the capacity of internal IT teams so that SMBs can maximize their potentials and development in the future.”
Kaspersky is offering promotions on the new product until June 30.
