HÀ NỘI — Up to 400 pavilions will be set up at the Hà Nội Gift Show 2020, scheduled for October 15-18, heard a press conference held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade late last week.

The annual event is set to create a playground for handicraft businesses and makers and promote connectivity between domestic and foreign firms.

Over the past eight years, the fair has attracted more than 1,950 enterprises and production facilities in Hà Nội and 40 other cities and provinces, along with 5,200 importers and visitors from 45 countries and territories worldwide.

Notably, more than 600 contracts, memoranda of understanding and co-operation agreements worth some US$50 million have been reached during the shows over the years.
