In his speech at the event’s opening ceremony, Thai Ambassador to Việt Nam Tanee Sangrat spoke highly of bilateral relations in many fields between the two countries.

Trade turnover between Thailand and Việt Nam reached more than US$17 billion in 2019. Thailand was Việt Nam's largest trading partner in ASEAN and Việt Nam was also Thailand's most important investor with a total investment of $2.3 billion, said Tanee Sangrat. — VNS
