Galaxy Fold officially launched in Việt Nam

HÀ NỘI — Samsung Vina on Monday in Hà Nội officially launched the Galaxy Fold – a folding smartphone priced at VNĐ50 million (US$2,156).

The Galaxy Fold has the world’s first 7.3-inch Infinity Flex Display folding screen, along with a smooth hinge opening and closing mechanism for book titles.

The smartphone has two user modes. When folded, it is a smartphone with a 4.5-inch display on the front and the back and a cluster of three cameras. It becomes a 7.3-inch tablet-like device when opened in default mode.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Suh Kyung Wook, General Director of Samsung Vina said the Galaxy Fold is not an ordinary smartphone. This is the device that represents the exploration of technology.

“After the strong attention to the Galaxy Fold all over the world, it is time for high-end users in Việt Nam to enjoy unparalleled technology and services unmatched from the Samsung brand. This equipment is our commitment to the original creativity and technological stature of the new era.”

Samsung offers privileges such as home technical support and a 24/7 priority support line for Galaxy Fold buyers.

Samsung said the Galaxy Fold will accept pre-orders from November 27 to December 13, 2019, and officially open for sale on December 14. — VNS
