HÀ NỘI — Vietjet will enhance its co-operation with the Việt Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked between the two companies on Thursday.
Under the MoU, between now and 2021, the two bodies will work on tourism promotions and market research.
They will also co-operate to advertise Vietnamese tourism abroad and conduct domestic destination surveys beside organising tourism promotions.
The MoU was expected to introduce and promote Việt Nam’s beauty, people and tourism to the world while contributing to creating attractive products and services, Vietjet said in a statement.
It would also provide travel opportunities for Vietnamese people and international tourists, connecting the Southeast Asian country to destinations around the world, where Vietjet has direct flights, it said.
The airline added the MoU was also a concrete effort to contribute to the target set by the Prime Minister to welcome 18 million international visitors in 2019.
With a network of 39 domestic routes and 69 international routes, Vietjet has contributed to the development of the tourism industry.
