VN, Japan IT sectors ink deal

Quang Trung Software City, and the Vietnam Information Technology Outsourcing Alliance on Friday signed an agreement with Japan’s Fukuoka Information Services Industry Association to enhance business co-operation and support trade promotion by members of both sides.

HCM CITY — Quang Trung Software City, and the Vietnam Information Technology Outsourcing Alliance on Friday signed an agreement with Japan’s Fukuoka Information Services Industry Association to enhance business co-operation and support trade promotion by members of both sides.

The signing ceremony was held in Japan as part of trade promotion activities organised by QTSC and VNITO Alliance in four Japanese cities, Fujisawa, Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka, from August 28 to September 2.

The programme aims to support Vietnamese firms understand more about the Japanese market and meet with their Japanese counterparts to explore and expand business co-operation.

The ceremony was followed by a business-matching event involving 16 Vietnamese IT firms and 15 local firms in Fukuoka.

VNITO Alliance had earlier signed memorandum of understandings with other Japanese IT organisations in Tokyo, Kanagawa and Osaka. — VNS
