HCM CITY – HDBank, one of Việt Nam’s largest joint stock commercial banks, has just set up its first branch in the northern province of Thái Nguyên, providing financial services such as loans, money transfers, and saving accounts, as well as highly-paid job opportunities for locals.

This is HDBank’s 262nd branch in the country. It is equipped with modern facilities, IT infrastructure, and a well-trained workforce to ensure high quality services.

As part of the branch’s opening ceremony, in addition to providing gifts for the first group of customers, the company has also gifted two charity houses to two poor families, each worth around VNĐ40 million (US$1,742).

The bank has also had branches in nearby provinces such as Lạng Sơn, Bắc Giang and Quảng Ninh.

Earlier this year, HDBank opened around 21 branches in other provinces such as Tây Ninh, Gia Lai and Hải Phòng.

Thái Nguyên Province, located near Hà Nội, contains an abundance of training facilities, providing a high quality workforce for the northern midlands and mountainous regions.

The bank aims to open up 45 new branches within this year. – VNS
