HÀ NỘI — Đoàn Thái Sơn, general director of the Legal Department of the State Bank of Việt Nam, has been appointed deputy governor of SBV, according to a prime ministerial decision.

Sơn, born in 1970, will replace current deputy governor Nguyễn Phước Thanh, who will retire on January 10.

SBV will be headed by governor Lê Minh Hưng and his five deputies -- Nguyễn Thị Hồng, Nguyễn Đồng Tiến, Đào Minh Tú, Nguyễn Kim Anh and Đoàn Thái Sơn.
