HA NOI — A programme to select the top 50 IT firms in Viet Nam in 2016 was officially kicked off by VINASA (Vietnam Software and IT Service Association).
This is an annual activity organised by VINASA since 2014 to select, certify and honour 50 leading IT enterprises in Viet Nam. The publication is considered a handbook for foreign organisations and enterprises that want to analyse and work within Viet Nam’s IT sector.
This year will be the first time the programme is to be released in three languages: Vietnamese, English and Japanese.
The organisation board will receive registrations from September 1 and the announcement ceremony will take place on October 26.
Previously, VINASA has published profiles of the top 50 companies for distribution amongst 1,000 large domestic and international organisations and companies.
According to published statistics, every year more than 10,000 IT partners in 100 countries and territories have access to the publication on the leading Vietnamese IT companies.
Last year, the top 40 IT firms selected by the programme earned a total revenue of 14.3 trillion VND, accounting for one quarter of the total revenue from the software–digital content sector, creating 23,000 jobs. — VNS
