HÀ NỘI — Nestlé Vietnam was honoured to receive the prestigious National Quality Gold Award for the second time on Wednesday in Hà Nội, an accolade presented by Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính to organisations and enterprises demonstrating exceptional achievements in production, business operations, competitiveness and integration with global economies.
The National Quality Award is the highest distinction granted annually by the Prime Minister, with the National Quality Gold Award being its top-tier recognition. This award evaluates companies comprehensively across multiple criteria, including leadership, strategic planning, customer orientation, performance management, innovation and sustainability. Nestlé Vietnam's success in securing this honour is attributed to its unwavering commitment to these areas.
Vice Chairman of the National Committee for Standards, Metrology, and Quality under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Trần Hậu Ngọc, said that the National Quality Award is based on a rigorous and transparent evaluation process. Award recipients are pioneers in applying quality management systems, improving business practices and enhancing productivity and quality across Việt Nam. Moreover, this award serves as a vital tool for businesses to assess their management systems according to international standards, ensuring continuous growth and improvement.

These values have been integral to the company's success in securing the National Quality Gold Award. Nestlé Vietnam consistently upholds the highest standards in food safety, hygiene and quality management across every stage of its operations - from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products to consumers.
"Nestlé’s business strategy revolves around its 'Creating Shared Value' approach and the core value of respect. The company is dedicated to fostering sustainable practices that protect resources for future generations. Nestlé's product portfolio is continually evolving, driven by research and development, to meet the dynamic needs of consumers. Furthermore, Nestlé encourages healthier lifestyles by sharing knowledge on nutrition and promoting physical activity among consumers," Thương said.
2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Nestlé Vietnam’s establishment and growth, with the goal of enhancing quality of life for the Vietnamese people. Guided by the vision of becoming a "Glocal company pioneering in sustainable development," the company places people at the center of all its activities. Nestlé Vietnam operates around three core pillars: innovation, digital transformation and sustainable development.
Innovation and digital transformation are key drivers of positive change across the entire supply chain. They enhance product quality, elevate consumer experiences, support sustainable production and farming practices and foster a safer, more efficient, and interconnected working environment for employees.
"Building on these accomplishments, Nestlé Vietnam will continue its unwavering strategy of balancing business growth with the responsible conservation of resources for future generations, while promoting prosperity in the communities it serves," she said.

Since its establishment in 1995, Nestlé Vietnam has consistently prioritised long-term investment and sustainable development within the country. Through collaboration with partners, Nestlé organises numerous training programmes for businesses, especially within the supply chain, focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adopting sustainable practices.
Nestlé’s success is also rooted in its dedication to its people, recognising them as the company’s most valuable asset. Nestlé is committed to providing its employees with excellent working conditions, benefits and flexible employment options, promoting a healthy work-life balance. These efforts have earned Nestlé Vietnam multiple accolades, including being recognised as the Most Sustainable Enterprise in the manufacturing sector for three consecutive years (2021-2023) and as an "Enterprise for Employees" for five consecutive years (2020-2024).
