HCM CITY — The latest trends and innovations in sports equipment, technology and services are on display at the 9th Vietnam International Sports & Outdoor Exhibition that opened in HCM City on Thursday.

The country’s biggest sports expo has attracted more than 300 exhibitors from 12 countries and territories, including China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan (China), the US and Việt Nam.

It has 400 booths showcasing products and services in sportswear, outdoor and leisure, health and fitness, and sporting goods and facilities.

Visitors can explore a wide range of products and equipment for emerging sports in Việt Nam such as pickle ball and padel, which have become popular in recent years with a growing community of enthusiasts.

The expo is being held concurrently at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in District 7 with the annual Vietnam International Two-wheel Exhibition.

The latter showcases the latest products and services related to bicycle, electric motorbikes, and their components and accessories.

The 12th Zhejiang International Trade Exhibition in Việt Nam also opened along with the two international exhibitions.

It features products from four sectors: textiles and consumer goods, hardware products, bicycles and accessories, and sports and outdoor recreation.

Organised by the Việt Nam National Trade Fair and Advertising JSC, the three expos will run until Saturday. — VNS
