QUẢNG NGÃI – Doosan Enerbility Vietnam (Doosan Vina), a high-tech industrial complex in Dung Quất Economic Zone of the central province of Quảng Ngãi, has delivered its first 11 modules to the Cariflex IR Latex Asia Phase-1 project in OUE Downtown, Singapore.
These modules will serve as the facility of the latex distillation factory to produce medical gloves in Singapore.
The modules were included in the Singapore Project SPRING project signed with DL E&C in 2022.
According to Doosan Vina, 95 per cent of the project was completed two months after signing the contract, and the remaining 15 modules are currently producing in the final phases before sending to Singapore next month.
Jang Hyun Seok, the Module Manager of DL E&C who is supervising the project progress at Doosan Vina, praised the company's good system and organisation.
He said: "If Doosan Vina has more customers and expands the business, Doosan Vina will be the best module fabricator."
Doosan Vina's modules are currently one of its key products.
In addition to this project, the company is preparing to produce 18 more units for DL E&C to install at the Golden Triangle Polymers project in Texas, USA.
The company also erects four modules for Samsung C&T customers to install at North Field Expansion Project EPC-2 in Qatar.
Doosan Vina has supplied 122 modules for international customers to date, including 39 modules installed at Ruwais Refinery in UAE and 35 modules for Sarawak Methanol Plant in Malaysia supplied to Samsung Engineering customers. These two projects were completed in March 2020 and December 2022.
Doosan Vina supplies mega infrastructure products such as boilers for thermal power plants, desalination to turn seawater into freshwater, cargo container crane for seaports, fired heaters, modules and structural steel for petrochemical refineries, buildings, and infrastructure developments. — VNS
