CENTRAL HIGHLANDS — The Central Highlands province of Đắk Nông will host a festival to honour Vietnamese brocade between December 27 and 30.
It will feature a wide range of cultural activities and art performances that underline the need for preserving and developing ethnic minority groups’ brocade art and introduce the culture and tourism potential of Đắk Nông.
Visitors can learn about the history and characteristics of brocade and the weaving techniques of various ethnic minority groups, and buy quality brocade products.
The festival will also feature brocade weaving demonstrations and exciting folk games.
It is expected to be held every other year in future in Gia Nghĩa Town. — VNS
