Market experts warned that investors should be cautious as trading might become choppy as VN-Index approaches the 1200-point land mark.
Vietnamese shares struggled to stem a bearish mood on Wednesday with VN-Index surpassing the 1,130 points but selling pressure still weighed down on the overall market.
Shares bounced back slightly in the afternoon trade but the VN-Index still lost 5.11 per cent - the biggest daily retreat since the first quarter of 2020.
