Demand for investment capital at the Việt Nam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and its member units for 2018-2020 was estimated to reach VNĐ620 trillion (US$26.7 billion), PetroVietnam Securities Inc (PSI) recently announced.

PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) has won a contract to supply a floating storage and offloading (FSO) system to a project being developed in the Sao Vàng-Đại Nguyệt gas fields by Japanese firm Idemisu Kosan.

The Malaysia Vietnam Offshore Terminal (MVOT), a joint venture between PetroVietnam Technical Services Corp and Malaysia’s MIBS Bhd, has won a US$176 million contract to provide equipment for Idemitsu Kosan to develop the Sao Vàng-Đại Nguyệt gas project.
