The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the information and communication departments of cities and provinces have been asked to do more to promote COVID-19 prevention measures.
A further 186 people have died of COVID-19-related complications, taking the total number of fatalities to 1,881.
Việt Nam’s total COVID-19 cases reached 161,761 on Monday with 389 more deaths after the Ministry of Health reported a daily increase of 7,455.
