Việt Nam has administered 100 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, nearly nine months after it commenced the ‘biggest inoculation drive in history.’
An additional 2,133,600 does of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine arrived in Việt Nam via COVAX, according to UNICEF Việt Nam.
A total 75,250,990 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Việt Nam so far, according to the national COVID-19 Vaccine Portal on Tuesday.
The US has sent another million doses of Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines to Việt Nam, the US Agency for International Development announced.
The details of about two million shots of COVID-19 vaccines administered have not yet been logged on the national COVID-19 vaccination portal, as many people have complained of missing or erroneous vaccine records. The health ministry is asking hospitals and provincial/municipal People’s Committees to direct relevant bodies to update the information.
