HÀ NỘI — The Tuần Châu-Hạ Long Beach Volleyball World Tour 2019 will be held from May 9-12 in Quảng Ninh Province.

Twenty-eight teams from 13 countries and territories including Austria, Denmark, Japan, Thailand and the US will join hosts Việt Nam.

It is a sharp increase of participants compared to last year, which involved 18 teams.

A Japanese team won the title in 2018 along with a prize of US$20,000.

The tour is an annual event held by the provincial sports department and the National Sports Administration.
