HÀ NỘI — Striker Hà Đức Chinh of Đà Nẵng has won the award for best goal this month in the national premier league by the Việt Nam Professional Football Joint Stock Company.
Chinh scored the goal in a match between Đà Nẵng and Sài Gòn in the league’s fourth round. Chinh turned his body and shot devilishly, outwitting Sài Gòn’s goal keeper.
The national U23 team footballer Chinh won 57 per cent of vote, and was followed by Trần Minh Vương of Hoàng Anh Gia Lai, who received just under 36 per cent.
In this year’s football season, Chinh has scored three goals. The 20-year-old striker was one of best domestic scorers after seven rounds of the national top flight event.
Chinh was in the line-up of the national U23 team competing in the AFC U23 Championship held in China in January in which Việt Nam won the silver medal for the first time. — VNS
