HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam’s aerobic team won three gold medals at the Suzuki World Cup 2018 FIG World Cup Series Tokyo International Finals, which concluded in Tokyo on Sunday.
Trio Huỳnh Tiến Phước, Nguyễn Khánh Hưng and Nguyễn Ngọc Anh Vy scored 19.600 points to take the first gold in the 15-17 years category.
They were followed by the Hungarian team and their teammates Nguyễn Võ Quỳnh Như, Thái Trịnh Hồng Phú and Trương Ngọc Diễm Hằng.
The second gold went to the trio of Nguyễn Việt Anh, Vương Hoài Ân and Trần Ngọc Thuý Vi in the above 18 category. They were given 22.077 points for their performance.
Hungary and Russia were in the second and third positions, respectively.
The group of five Nguyễn Việt Anh, Vương Hoài Ân, Trần Ngọc Thuý Vi, Nguyễn Chế Thanh and Lê Hoàng Phong topped the above 18 category.
They bested China and Bulgaria squads with an outstanding performance that received 22.277 points from the judges.
The Vietnamese athletes also won two silver and four bronze medals at the annual tournament.
