HÀ NỘI — Saigon Heat defeated Thang Long Warriors 3-2 on the last day of the qualifying match in the Việt Nam Futsal League (VFL).

The match was held in the Military Zone 5 Gymnasium in Đà Nẵng City on Sunday.

Nguyễn Đắc Huy scored the opener for Warriors in the first few seconds of the game.

But before the first half was over, Đinh Văn Đoàn had levelled the score for Heat.

After the break, Heat made continuous counter attacks to score two more goals, while the capital team, Warriors, narrowed the gap to 2-3 with only a minute remaining.

In other matches, Hanoi Buffaloes lost to Cantho Catfish 2-5, and HCM City Wings crushed Danang Dragons 7-1.

Four teams have topped the rankings in the qualification round - Hanoi Buffaloes (nine points), HCM City Wings (eight points), Saigon Heat (eight points) and Cantho Catfish (seven points).

They will enter the semi-finals, which will take place this weekend at Rạch Miễu Gymnasium in HCM City. — VNS
