HÀ NỘI — A Japanese delegation of 15 students will visit Việt Nam and play friendly judo matches with Việt Nam’s national judo team and judo athletes in Hà Nội and Nha Trang City from March 6-14.

The visit is part of the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) programme, according to the Japanese Embassy in Việt Nam.

The programme aims to introduce the politics, culture, history and diplomatic policies of Japan to Vietnamese youths, deepening trust and mutual understanding between the two countries.

The Japanese students are scheduled to visit the Youth International Cooperation Development Centre and the Việt Nam Judo Federation.

The JENESYS programme is a project advanced by the Japanese government to provide a sound foundation for strong solidarity within Asia through large-scale youth exchange. — VNS
