HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam topped the table at the Ninth World Shuttlecock Championships which ended in Hong Kong on Thursday.

The defending champions finished first with five golds and two silvers in seven categories.

Titles went from men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s teams and men’s doubles. It was one gold more than the previous championship in Italy.

They lost in two finals of women’s doubles and mixed doubles which went to China.

Việt Nam are the world strongest team in shuttlecock. They have dominated all nine tournaments so far. — VNS
