HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam will beat Thailand to bag the ASEAN Football Federation U15 Championship title today, according to coach Vũ Hồng Việt.

Việt and his team have been successful at the tournament, so far, not losing any match from the group round until the semi-final stage.

Speaking to reporters after beating Australia 2-0 in the last-four round on Thursday, Việt said: “Any team that enters the final is of the same level. We are determined to beat Thailand for the title and will do our best to complete the task.”

Host Thailand beat Malaysia 1-0 in the other semis. They also won all five group round matches in Group A.

The final kicks off at 6.30pm at the Chonburi Province Stadium.

Prior to this match, Malaysia and Australia will compete in the bronze-medal match.
