Việt Nam take seven medals at wushu World Cup

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam grabbed three silver and four bronze medals at the eighth Sanda World Cup 2016, which closed yesterday in Xian, China.

Vũ Minh Đức came in second in the men’s U48kg class, before Hoàng Thị Luân finished second in the women’s U48kg category. The first silver medal went to Nguyễn Thị Trang in the women’s U60kg pool.

Four bronze medals were won by Tô Văn Báu (men’s U56kg), Bùi Trường Giang (men’s U60kg), Nguyễn Thị Thu Thủy (women’s U52kg) and Chu Thị Thúy Hằng (women’s 70kg). — VNS
