Swimmer Trịnh Thị Bích Như of Việt Nam secured a berth in the final of the women’s 50 metre butterfly S6 category yesterday at the Rio Paralympics in Brazil.

HÀ NỘI — Swimmer Trịnh Thị Bích Như of Việt Nam secured a berth in the final of the women’s 50 metre butterfly S6 category yesterday at the Rio Paralympics in Brazil.

Như finished fourth during the second heat, with a time of 42.08 seconds to qualify among the final eight.

Her rivals will be world record holder Oksana Khrul of Ukraine, European winner Ellie Robinson and Australian champion Tiffany Thomas Kane.

The final will be held today at the Olympic Aquatic Stadium. — VNS
