Junior masters win world medals in Germany

The Vietnamese team won three gold, three silver and two bronze medals at the World Junior Xiangqi Championship, which closed in Germany.

HÀ NỘI — The Vietnamese team won three gold, three silver and two bronze medals at the World Junior Xiangqi Championship, which closed in Germany.

Titles went to Nguyễn Hương Giang in the girl’s U10 class, Văn Diệp Bảo Duy in the boy’s U13 pool and Kiều Bích Thuỷ in the girls U16 category.

Lâm Bảo Quốc Anh (boy’s U13), Đỗ Việt Hà (girl’s U13) and Lại Quỳnh Tiên (girl’s U16) were awarded silver medals.

The bronze medals belonged to Phí Trọng Hiếu (boy’s U16) and Nguyễn Phương Anh (girl’s U10). — VNS
