HÀ NỘI — The 30th Golden Racket International Table Tennis Championship is scheduled to begin at the Nguyễn Du Gymnasium in HCM City on August 25.
The event will feature competitors from eight countries and territories including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and Thailand.
The four teams representing the host country include the Military team, Hoàng Thạch-Hải Dương Cement, HCM City and Petrosetco HCM City.
Athletes will compete in the men’s and women’s team and singles competitions.
The event, which is an International Table Tennis Federation tournament, is hosted by the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the municipal Table Tennis Federation.
It will run until August 28. — VNS
