HÀ NỘI — Seven of the best Vietnamese golfers have been selected to compete in the Asian Mercedes Trophy 2016 tournament’s final round on August 9-12 in Australia.
The players, who previously won the Việt Nam Mercedes Trophy 2016 tournament’s final round, include Nguyễn Gia Bảo, Hoàng Quân, Trần Văn Bằng, Nguyễn Hoài Nam and Phan Tấn Học.
The top performers in the Asian event will secure a slot to compete in the Mercedes Trophy World Final, to be held in Stuttgart, Germany on October 3-8.
The Mercedes Trophy is an exclusive series of invitational golf tournaments conducted around the world. Each year, more than 60,000 players from 60 countries tee off in local, regional and national events, competing to qualify for the world final. — VNS
