HÀ NỘI — Phùng Chí Kiên won Việt Nam's only golf at the 11th Asian Age Group Aquatics Championships' diving event in New Clark City, the Philippines.

Kiên topped the ranking in the boys 13-14 years old platform event with 265.55 points.

His teammate Phạm Thái Thiên Bảo came second, followed by of Megat Syakir Hashim Megat of Malaysia.

The last medal of the team went to Bùi Hồng Giang who took bronze in the girls 16-18 years old platform.

The Asian championship included swimming, diving, synchronised swimming and water polo. Việt Nam took part in the first two which finished. The nationals teams will return home with total of 15 gold, 21 silver and 30 bronze medals to take the fourth place overall.

Japan were top with 43 golds, followed by Kazakhstan with 21 golds and Thailand with 18. VNS
