Meanwhile, FPT Play is the leading multi-platform digital television provider in Việt Nam. It is a member of FPT Telecom, a telecommunications and Internet service provider who trusted and loved by customers all over Việt Nam and the region.

Following their cooperation agreement signed on November 1 in Hà Nội, VPF and FPT Play will work together to promote the image and commercial exploitation of the three tournaments for five consecutive seasons from 2023 to 2027.

All matches will be aired live by FPT Play on multiple platforms of terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, Internet, mobile, public projection and social networks.

The two sides will also carry out sideline reports covering player training and activities in their clubs. There will be preview and review programmes before and after matches along with deep analysis from football experts, journalists, coaches and players which will bring multidimensional points of view to audiences.

"To develop football, exploiting television rights and maximising their commercial exploitation is an inevitable trend, which has been implemented in all advanced football countries in the world," said VPF General Director Nguyễn Minh Ngọc. "The strategic cooperation between VPF and FPT Play promises to bring advantages in promoting and enhancing the value and development of the national professional football tournaments."

"As one of the leading units in the production and broadcasting of sports content, I believe FPT Play will work with VPF to bring complete and different football experiences nationwide fans in the near future,” Ngoc said.

Việt Nam in recent years has performed well in international competitions.

This success has definitely been contributed to by local clubs. Therefore, the strong growth of the domestic leagues will also strongly affect the development of the national teams.

"Our biggest expectation is to accompany the Vietnamese players and wave the national flag in every journey. Witnessing the continuous growth of Vietnamese football in recent years, we are confidence that FPT Telecom in general and FPT Play in particular have made the right decision when giving our love and support to football, the king of sport," said Hoàng Việt Anh, FPT Telecom CEO.

"Our next target will be to bring high-quality sports content to local supporters in the near future,” he said. — VNS
