According to the Phú Thọ Department of Health, from 6 p.m. of October 17th to 6 p.m. of October 18th, the province recorded 38 new cases of COVID-19, in which Việt Trì City 30 cases, Phù Ninh district 7 cases and one case for Lâm Thao district.

Three people died, four were injured and one went missing after torrential rains swept through northern and central provinces as of 5pm on October 17, according to the Standing Office of the National Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control.
