251 more COVID-19 patients confirmed on Tuesday

A total of 251 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed on Tuesday raising the total number of patients in Việt Nam to 7,572.

HÀ NỘI — A total of 251 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed on Tuesday raising the total number of patients in Việt Nam to 7,572.

Of all the new patients on Tuesday, one is an imported case in An Giang southern province. The remaining 250 are domestic cases.

Of those, 124 are in Bắc Giang Province, 70 in HCM City, 34 in Bắc Ninh Province, 12 in Lạng Sơn Province, three in Long An Province, two in Hà Nội, two in Hà Nam Province and Đồng Tháp, Trà Vinh and Vĩnh Phúc provinces recorded one each.

Việt Nam has seen 47 deaths related to COVID-19 so far.

In a related move, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam today announced it would continue considering and granting permits for inbound international flights through Nội Bài and Tân Sơn Nhất international airports, reversing it previous decisions to temporarily stop receiving such flights. — VNS
