New co-working space to open for start-ups in HCM City

The HCM City Youth Federation has just broken ground on a new co-working space at No. 135 Hai Bà Trưng Street in District 1 to offer more choices for start-ups who are looking for a place to nuture their business ideas.

HCM CITY — The HCM City Youth Federation has just broken ground on a new co-working space at No 135 Hai Bà Trưng Street in District 1 to offer more choices for start-ups who are looking for a place to nuture their business ideas.

Covering an area of 500sq.m, it will be comprised of 15 furnished studios and high-tech facilities and equipment.

In addition, it will be a place for organising events and workshops on start-ups and entrepreneurship for people to learn from experts and exchange ideas with one another.

Trương Lý Hoàng Phi, director of the city Youth Federation’s Young People Start-up Support Centre, said the centre would be open around the clock to maximise convenience for the use of students and young people.

The co-working space is expected to start operation after two months of construction.

Earlier, a smiliar space opening at No 4 Alexandre De Rhodes by the centre has drawn great interest from young entrepreneurs in the city. — VNS
