HẢI PHÒNG — Hải Phòng Police and Customs unearthed a drug trade ring, seizing more than 10kg of white substance and tools allegedly used to make the drug ecstasy, police announced yesterday.
Last Friday, two drug dealers – Khúc Thị Minh Trang, 33, of northern Hải Phòng City’s Lê Chân District, and Nguyễn Đình Hưng, 43, of the city’s Hồng Bàng District – were found with 400 tablets and 10kg of the white substance, which are undergoing testing to determine whether it was used to make the drug ecstasy.
Police also found tools to measure and process the substance.
The two dealers admitted to the police that they processed, packed and transported the substance across the city.
The dealers were arrested for illegally making and keeping the drug.
Further investigations are underway. — VNS
