LÂM ĐỒNG — The first AI training and research centre in the Tây Nguyên (Central Highlands) region has opened at Đà Lạt University in Lâm Đồng Province.
The Artificial Intelligence Centre was built with an investment of over VNĐ7 billion (US$304,991) and sponsored by the Imex Pan Pacific Group, a giant in Việt Nam’s luxury retail market.
It offers an international education programme on AI future intelligent manufacturing, which is being taught in 10 countries worldwide to equip students with AI knowledge.
The programme is expected to help the centre develop a teaching method and scenarios to help young people access programming, AI, and robot knowledge, and combine them with natural and social sciences.
The centre aims to create an effective learning environment for students, raise public awareness of AI-Robotics, and promote Lâm Đồng Province’s cooperation and research activities, particularly in smart cities, smart agriculture and smart tourism. — VNS
