Prime Minister of Việt Nam Phạm Minh Chính held separate in-person meetings with his Cambodian, Singaporean and Malaysian counterparts on Saturday, on the occasion of the ASEAN Leaders’ Meeting in Jakarta.

Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính and a high-ranking delegation of Việt Nam arrived in Hà Nội at midnight Saturday, early morning of Sunday, successfully concluding their trip to attend the ASEAN Leaders’ Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The two ministers later cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Việt Nam-China friendship cultural house in Đồng Văn Commune, Bình Liêu District, Quảng Ninh Province, which was built by the two defence ministries.

ASEAN leaders have all expressed concerns over escalating situation in Myanmar and the worsening impacts on the Myanmar people and lives, asked that all parties exercise restraints and refrain from violence, to enable seeking of solutions for the future of Myanmar.
