With permission from the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, the Ministry of Home Affairs signed a decision to establish the association on August 1.
Following collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Public Security and U.S. law enforcement entities to arrest two high-profile U.S. fugitives, representatives of the U.S. Marshals Service visited Vietnam from July 11-16, 2023 to identify ways to build on recent success and expand law enforcement collaboration.

The event took place under the chair of the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology Huỳnh Thành Đạt and Israeli Minister of Economy and Industry Nir Barkat.
