HÀ NỘI — The Vietnamese Government welcomes stronger co-operation between IT firms in
During a meeting with the Angolan official in Hà Nội on Tuesday, Deputy PM Đam hailed the friendship between the two nations, which he said was supported by the effective co-operation in telecom, IT, information safety and human resources training.
The Vietnamese Government encourages businesses in both countries to seek co-operation opportunities in technology transfer, he said.
According to the Deputy PM, telecommunication and IT have become a spearhead technical-economic sector for Việt Nam, yielding estimated revenues of US$16 billion over the past two decades.
The country has built big telecom and IT enterprises, which are regionally competitive in capital, technology, human resources, and management experience. He added that Việt Nam is willing to share experience in opening markets, improving competitiveness and promoting rapid and sustainable development of its telecom and IT sector.
He called on the Angolan government to create favourable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises, including telecom and IT firms, to invest in the African country.
