The Press Centre has worked with relevant agencies to create favourable conditions for media organisations to carry out reporting activities at the congress, particularly major national outlets such as Vietnam Television, the Voice of Vietnam, the Vietnam News Agency and Nhân Dân (People) newspaper. These arrangements enable them to best fulfil their role as host media agencies by providing clean television and radio signals, as well as photographs for use in covering the 14th National Party Congress.
Plans have been developed to organise actvities of reporters at the Press Centre and inside the main hall of the National Convention Centre, which is hosting the congress. These measures ensure timely and orderly recording, filming, photography and audio capture so that information is delivered quickly, accurately and comprehensively.
In addition, the centre has carefully prepared the provision of meals and refreshments during breaks for reporters and technical and service staff.
Within the framework of the opening event, participants visited exhibitions featuring books and newspapers serving the congress, and the exhibition “Under the Party leadership, the nation enters a new era” with around 500 archival photos organised by the Vietnam News Agency.
Besides, an exhibition themed “From Congress to Congress” was also opened, displaying more than 200 valuable documents, images and artefacts.
A commemorative postage stamp collection themed "Welcoming the 14th National Party Congress” was also released.
